Budhi Gandaki Hydroelectric Project is located about 170 km west of Kathmandu, in Gorkha District of Gandaki Province of Nepal. The headworks of Budhi Gandaki HEP is situated at Jagat village of Chumnumbri Rural Municipality and the powerhouse is situated at Tatopani village of Dharche Rural Municipality (RM) in Gorkha District.
